Two great news today !

We just made a new licensing deal with the american mobile supplier thecellfreak.com which soon will present the remix version of 1.2.3.4 by Fake and promote it to all their customers as ring signals and all that hype which seems to be so popular for so many young people these days. The MeMeMe's agreement !

Today we have made an agreement with UK's The MeMeMe's. The band is currently in the studio working on their forthcoming debut album (TBA). Please go to their facebook profile and listen to their great tunes "Hey Julie" and "Iwan Standley! !

The MeMeMe's have been featured on BBC radio, Supported Martin Carr ( Brave Captain, Boo Radleys), invited to play at the SWN Festival and have had some intriguing offers with regard to releasing their pop gems through various National & European labels. - Not bad for a band only 3 months old. The album OC/DC is still being recorded and will be available as soon...

Pondus live in Tokyo !

Prior to the the debut album release on November 17 (tbc) Petur Hallgrimsson, songwriter of the Icelandic trio Pondus, plays live in Tokyo on October 22. The event is an special open night show which also features Icelandic Kira Kira and Eirikur Orrim, Finnish Samuli Kosminen and Japanese Yasushi Yoshida. Unreleased track to be released !

We're releasing the highly acclaimed "Losing you" by Kira and the kindred spirits. The song is remixed by DJ Varano and is never before released. The remix version was originally made in 2002 to tease the lame danish national radio to play the greatest new talent coming out on the danish rock scene in decades. The song is included to the extended version of "Happiness saves lives" album to be re released soon. Listen to the whole album here !

The Fakes is again in the studio with producer Robbie Rowlands. It's for the making of the bands forthcoming full length album (previously released two EP's "Storm in a tea cup" 2006 and "Little Deaths" 2007) and it's called "Roseblood" and will be released in march/april 2008.

We are currently featured on the music business networking platform music2deal.com. The feature is about our recent licensing deal with the swedish Music For You and broadband supplier 3. The story's been told before but here's another feature.

Features on German websites !

In September we signed an licensing agreement with the Swedish MForME (a division of Music For You AB) and their joint venture with the 3G company tre.se which among others also includes the Danish 3.dk.

Both the German music business magazine www.musikmarkt.de and www.scouty.de has written about this.

The agreement with MForMe is for the previous release of Lou Reed's classic "I'm waiting for the man" performed, recorded and re arranged by Fake.

The latest tune 1.2.3.4 (remix) by Fake is currently being played on several internet radio stations at IAC in the United States. Additionally it's also featured on the highly acclaimed animoto.com website throughout January 2008 (no! - recent animoto announcement is throughout February 2008 for this feature).
