The myspace answer !


So our complaint's been answered. Below the official MySpace answer.

We can understand your concern regarding your song�s play counts and apologize for any impact this may have on your music endeavors. MySpace recently made a site-wide correction to play counts in order to accurately reflect the play data for the songs in question, and the new totals are the correct numbers accumulated during the time each song has been hosted on MySpace. For this reason you�ve seen a decrease in the amount of total plays your songs have accrued. We assure you these new numbers are accurate and do apologize again for any inconveniences this may cause you and your band.

We'd like to thank MySpace for the answer. There's absolutely nothing we can do about it and all our previous visitor/play - counts seem to be a mistake, by MySpace, due to their answer above.

Wonder whether the same answer is sent to the major label executives ?
